Welcome Naomi Mason!

Naomi Mason – Special Education Coordinator and Behavior Counselor

We are so excited to be welcoming Naomi Mason to the Sussex Christian School family. She will be taking on an important role at our school in nurturing the Achievement Center. Naomi has lived in Westtown, NY for 21 years, and has four sons with her husband of 29 years. Her and her family are involved in Calvary Baptist Church in Warwick, NY as well as Highlands Bible Church in Vernon, NJ and seek to serve God in all that they do. Holding a Bachelors in Sociology and a Masters in Human Services Counseling, as well as being a Certified Social Worker in New Jersey will certainly aid her in endeavors at SCS.

Naomi will be helping teachers develop strategies so that each student can have success in the classroom and coordinate services within Sussex County for any students that needs additional assistance.

Naomi is excited to meet the staff and students at SCS this year and follow in the footsteps of her mother, Caroline Mangione, and sister, Dorothy Myhren, who have both previously taught at SCS.
