Teaching

Philosophy

SCS teachers have a passion for the well-being of every child.  They embrace the practice of nurturing children with love and compassion, mentoring them and demonstrating God's grace every day.  They reinforce positive interactions between different age groups, encouraging children to grow together dynamically.

SCS teachers have a passion for Christian education and possess high educational standards.  They teach strong academics as well as encourage each child to see the world through the lens of God's Word.  They are positive, Christian role-models who integrate all disciplines as they relate to the Creator throughout all subject matter.

Each teacher must have an undergraduate degree in education from an accredited college or university as well as a current teaching certificate.
