Sussex Christian School

Sussex Christian School was established in 1958 by members of the Sussex Christian Reformed Church. It was their desire to provide a loving and caring learning environment for their children based on God�s infallible Word: the Bible. The school realizes that the beginning of knowledge is the fear of the Lord (Proverbs 1:7). This is the foundation upon which all instruction is based. Our purpose is to educate our children for a life of obedience to God�s word, and prepare them to be ambassadors for Jesus Christ.

Sussex Christian School is a parent controlled Elementary and Junior High School, providing a strong academic program in a Christian environment to families in Northern New Jersey as well as neighboring areas of New York and Pennsylvania. The school is a non-profit, inter-denominational Christian School. Although its roots are in the Sussex Christian Reformed Church, the school is not a provincial school. Our students come from many different churches throughout the area.
